Practice Schedule for the '08-'09 Season

** Please notice that we will not be practicing at the Faubion Field house this year.  All practices will be held at the Old Settlers Park Recreation Center.

Fall Folkstyle Wrestling: All Practices will be held at the Old Settlers Park Recreation Center
Please note that for the first two weeks we will be practicing on Monday and Thursday

ALL Wrestlers will begin practice on Monday November 3rd 

 Red Squad will practice Mon. Tues. and Thurs.  from 6:30-8:30p.m.

 
All wrestlers will practice Monday and Tuesday the week of Thanksgiving White Squad will practice Tues. and Thurs. from 6:30-8:00p.m.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION for '08-'09
There will be Friday night weigh-ins allowed in Allen, TX, or the tournament site.  You will also be able to weigh-in on-site the morning of the tournament.  

Tournament Division Starting Schedule:
1. Tots, Div2, and Div4 will wrestle in the AM bouts                           2. Div1, Div3, and Div5 will wrestle the PM bouts 
The tournaments that are in bold are the tournaments that the Mat Rats have voted to be their three primary qualifying tournaments for the Regional and State Tournaments.  All of these tournaments are included in your registration fee.  You must wrestle in at least 3 tournaments to wrestle at the North Texas Regional tournament on 2/7/09.  If you cannot make it to one of the local tournaments, you will need to arrange to wrestle in one of the other tournaments to meet your minimum.   If you wish to wrestle in additional tournaments, you will be responsible for the entrance fee's.  Most of these will cost approximately $12-$13 per wrestler/division.

There are more tournaments than are listed below.  If you wish to wrestle additional tournament you will be responsible for finding a coach that is willing to go with you.  You can find a list of tournament at:
